Youth want to have fun...

Parents want their kids to be safe...

NSYC is your solution!

Our youth and teen positive alternatives, are the ways we positively engage children and teens beyond the school bell to deter them from risky behaviors. By giving youth more opportunities for socialization, recreation, enrichment, and community service, they can feel encouraged and empowered to live healthy, responsible lives, and make a difference in their communities--all while having fun!
Our 40 year history of youth activities includes open mic and band nights, open gym events, video game tournaments, game nights, summer concerts, holiday initiatives, safe trick-or-treating, craft and paint nights, community cleanups, parade marching, restaurant outings, fundraisers, gardening, dodgeball tournaments, karaoke, cooking events, seasonal parties, and more!
NSYC provides safe, supervised, drug- and alcohol-free environments, plus a variety of activities, special events, volunteer opportunities, and community projects for today's youth. Our Teen Rec nights welcome high school students and middle school students on designated evenings to enjoy socialization and age-appropriate recreation, movies, music, video and board games, billiards, tournaments, special events, and more.
North Shore Youth Council is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit community-based organization, funded in part by the Town of Brookhaven, the County of Suffolk, the State of New York, the North Shore Consortium, and public and private donations.
