Four decades of helping youth and families THRIVE!

Picture
For over 40 years, North Shore Youth Council has dedicated itself to providing the North Shore communities with comprehensive, evidence-based youth and family programs and services in enrichment, prevention, education, counseling, and recreation. NSYC has the continued confidence and support of our local elected officials, school districts, and communities from Mount Sinai to Shoreham-Wading River and beyond.

Since our founding, we have influenced thousands of individuals from kindergarten to college through our avenue of prevention services. Our programs are designed to benefit all people and teach our youth the essential life skills necessary to become responsible, successful adults. The model for success in our programs is based upon having positive influences at every stage and connecting youth and families to our wide offering of services. The youth we support come back year after year and grow with us, returning as counselors, mentors, and staff to help guide the next generation.

Help sustain our mission for generations to come and be a part of providing more opportunities for our youth!
North Shore Youth Council is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit community-based organization, funded in part by the Town of Brookhaven, the County of Suffolk, the State of New York, the North Shore Consortium, and public and private donations.
