For over 30 years, North Shore Youth Council has dedicated itself to providing the North Shore communities with comprehensive, evidence-based youth and family programs and services in enrichment, prevention, education, counseling, and recreation. NSYC has the continued confidence and support of our local elected officials, school districts, and communities from Mt. Sinai to Shoreham-Wading River.

Since our founding, we have influenced thousands of individuals from kindergarten to college. Our programs are designed to benefit all people and teach our youth the essential life skills necessary to become responsible, successful adults. The model for success in our programs is based upon having positive influences at every stage, as well as following-up beyond the initial programming. Many of the youth we support come back year after year and grow with us, returning as counselors, mentors, and staff to help guide the next generation.
