Meet Our Board

North Shore Youth Council is guided by a diverse group of community leaders and individuals whose varied expertise is integral to advancing the mission, vision, and goals of the organization. The Board works in partnership with the Executive Director, NSYC staff, and Youth Advisory Committee to be fully integrated in the operations and communications of the agency, ensuring the variety of NSYC offerings and the well-being of youth and families utilizing the programs and services.

The Board of Directors is responsible for a multitude of functions that uphold the legal, ethical, and fiduciary integrity of the organization, including:
  • Supporting the efforts of the Executive Director.
  • Overseeing the strategic plan and budget of the organization.
  • Actively participating in the development of programming.
  • Evaluating and strengthening the agency's availability and variety of programs and services.
  • Collaborating with agency staff to increase development funding and resources.
  • Initiating board member recruitment for increased community representation.
