Mission and Values

Picture
We are unique for being the only agency with a model for prevention. We are a trusted resource along the North Shore corridor. We are a home and a safe place our communities can count on. We are not a one-size-fits-all system or solution. We listen to our youth who are the driving force of our agency and respond to what they need to accomplish their goals. We encourage the celebration of individuality. We promote physical and mental health wellness. We help people make positive decisions to lead healthy lives, but even if someone falls,
we'll be there to pick them right back up.
We are North Shore Youth Council.

Mission

North Shore Youth Council is dedicated to helping youth and families
cope in today's changing world.

Values

Compassion
We appreciate without judgment, the perspectives or situations of others when they are different from our own.

Inclusion
We take pride in having a humble and respectful attitude towards people from different cultures, backgrounds, and who live different lifestyles.

Excellence
We place great value on the work we do and confidently pursue it to the highest quality.

Integrity
We practice truthfulness and consistently adhere to strong moral and ethical principles.

Resilience
We adapt to life in the face of adversity or stress.

Perseverance
We continue forward without regard to opposition,
discouragement, or failure.

Lifelong Learning

We dedicate ourselves to continuous education
and expanding our knowledge.

Strong Sense of Connection to Youth
We embolden youth's sense of belonging and support their explorations and passions in life.
